For Chamber Orchestra (Reger)
Max Reger (1873-1916)
Leipzig: Lauterbach & Kuhn, 1903. Plate L. & K. 132.
chamber orchestra: 2 flutes, 2 oboes, 2 clarinets in B♭, 2 bassoons, 2 horns in G, strings (with solo viola) (solo viola part originally intended by arranger for English horn). the notice about the composer on the first page of this score means, I think, not that he arranged it for chamber orchestra, but that he only completed the first movement of an intended multi-movement serenade.-Schissel
