"William Flackton was a boy chorister at Canterbury Cathedral before becoming apprenticed to one Edward Burgess, a bookseller and stationer who was also a cathedral lay clerk. His brother John joined William when he set up his own bookseller's business. John played the horn, which may help to explain that instrument's unusual appearance in this delightful catch."
