Misc. Comments

The original version was probably composed in late 1905 or early 1906. It was given the 1st performance as late as May the 30th 2006 in Espoo. Kuula revised the song in summer 1906 (2nd, final, version) and later (in 1914) also arranged the song for male choir a cappella (which arr. was premiered as late as in summer 2001 in Luhanka, Finland).
