Copyright 1905 but published in the 1950s or later, I think (from the plate number? -see the Boosey plate table)... according to the University of Illinois Catalog which has the 1905 print of the 3 Baritone Songs, the plate of the 1905 edition was H.4726. This does seem to be a later reprint / reissue/something with new plates.

This song was originally published as no 3 of Three Baritone Songs. The other songs from the set ("Come to the Woods" and "My Lady") were rapidly eclipsed by the popularity of Glorious Devon and have been all but forgotten.
