- Seems to be originally for orchestra
- There is a "Frühlings Erwachen" in Helm's catalogue of C.P.E. Bach works, under No. H 646.
- While there was a composer of music for salon orchestra (and other ensembles) named Emanuel Bach in the late 19th century, this might well be an arrangement of the spurious chamber work attributed to CPE Bach, once popular, called Frühlings Erwachen... don't know it. Anyone have a copy for comparison?
