Festpraeludium (Gade, Niels)
Arrangements and Transcriptions
For Harmonium (Reinhard)
August Reinhard (1831-1912)
Leipzig: Wilhelm Hansen, . Plate 11700.
Reproduction. Scanned at 600dpi monochrome.
Though Gade's original was named Festpraeludium, this is Fantasie über den Choral "Lobe den Herren". Depending on how loose the arranging is, and how close it comes to a paraphrase rather than an arrangement, this may have to go on a page with Reinhard as the composer, not Gade.
|Year/Date of Composition||(1873)|
|Instrumentation||Organ, trumpet or trombone ad lib.|
Grove Music does not give the trumpet and trombone parts as ad lib. However, the work is listed in the Keyboard section. The solo organ tag may need to be removed if an original is uploaded that proves the brass parts are not ad lib.
