According to Grove Music, the instrumentation is "S, coro (unison S), tpt, 2 vn, bc", which means that the second soprano part is for a unison soprano chorus. Technically, the soprano part does not have to be sung by females, as there are many boy sopranos, but given the subject matter, a female chorus is more likely intended. Therefore it has been tagged for both.
