  • This Oratorio uses the same libretto as Johann Mattheson's Christmas Oratorio "Das größte Kind". Mattheson was Keiser's predecessor as precentor of St. Mary's Cathedral (Mariendom) in Hamburg. An oratorio based on this libretto was performed on 28.12.1707 in Hamburg (presumably using Keiser's music)
