Misc. Comments

Since Dennée published his opus 18 in 1894, suggesting that opus 9 may predate 1894, and since this is an -edited- version published in 1909, I doubt that it is the first publication of the work.- Schissel (Hofmeister has his opus 12 "Les bijoux" published 1890, his opus 26 published 1896.)

Noted as performed in 1884 volume of The Musical year-book of the United States (likewise the violin sonata op.14 and some other works).
