Misc. Comments
- According to Internet Archive, this work was composed in 1854, though they do not give a source for that information, and Grove Music lists the work, but leaves it undated.
- According to Grove Music, Hanssens wrote two other clarinet concertos, also undated.
- RISM has 1838 based on the manuscript at Brussels (also according to information from Bärwolf and Wotquenne, says RISM). This seems from the incipits given to be the same concerto. - Schissel (Actually, he wrote a clarinet concerto, 2 clarinet concertinos, and several other concertante works with clarinet including a fantasy for violin and clarinet from the 1830s described here.)
