HMB-Rhul seems to be down right now, but from Handbuch der musikalischen Literatur by Carl Friedrich Whistling (1881 5th Supplement to Edition 3, page LXXXV) something of his (Quadrille on der Freischütz) was published as late as 1881 or so (possibly a reprint, again, so would be good to have the searchable database up. If not, it suggests possibly a fl.-date even as late as 1876-1881, since the book where that appeared covers publications in that date range. Eric 04:20, 6 August 2011 (UTC)
