The book contains many short original pieces contrived so that they can be played with 8 different ensembles. The pieces here are: A Spanish Humour, The Virgines Muse, The King of Denmarkes Delight, A Merry Conceit, My Hope is Revived, My Joyes are Coming and A Maske. Though the original print is relatively error free this edition has been made to be easier to read and the few errors, particularly in 'The Virgines Muse' take a long time to sort out when playing from the original.
