Composer identified as D.W. Reeves, leader of the American Band, Prov. R.I. Musicsack gives this as the location of David Wallis Reeves' death in 1900 (I do not know whether their sources give his full name or not, however. This is not in all cases a trivial assumption, see for instance the cases of James H. Rogers or R. Radecke.)
