David Hamlin (Born February 9, 1988 in Hartford, Connecticut) is an American composer, and pianist currently living Vermont.

Biography

He studied classical theory, and piano at Johnson State College in Johnson, Vermont from August 2009 until July 2010. He then attended Landmark College in Putney, Vermont for just over a semester before leaving college and pursuing composition. He has been studying under Erik Nielsen (another Vermont based composer) since late 2011. His public debut performance was on June 16th 2013 when the Me2 Orchestra of Burlington, Vermont performed the first movement of his Sinfonietta in E minor.
