Misc. Notes Two versions posted. A more faithful urtext-like (though not critical) version and a version that is embellished in style (not really an arrangement) with continuo. The embellished version takes a number of liberties that might have been taken in the day - adding more ornamented lines on repetitions in strings as well as bassoon, etc. Perhaps some Baroque "purists" may take exception to some of the alterations, but this is just one of an infinite number of performance possibilities. My goal is to bring life to the music in new ways that are not totally unorthodox. See "Discuss the Piece" and the "Virtual Performance" for more information.
