About the composer: Jiránek Antonín (Anton Giranek, * 1712, † 16 January 1761 in Dresden) was a Bohemian musician and composer. Jiránek was educated in Prague. He was a member of the royal chapel in Warsaw and later the Polish court orchestra in Dresden. He composed symphonies, concertos, trio sonatas and vocal music. He wrote 4 Bassoon concerti, the 4th is incomplete, and the last part of last movement in 2nd Bassoon concerto is missing.
