Extra Information "Giulio Briccialdi: Il principe dei flautisti in inghilterra", (PAN: Journal of the British Flute Society, September 2014, pp.38-41) by Samantha Chang, gives some information on Briccialdi's 4-year stay in London (1848-1852) (soon after the start of which he may have composed this work.) Was published by Rudall & Carte, in "The Flute Player's Portfolio #1" (published in or about 1850? or definitely in 1850?- so perhaps the Rudall publication was definitely the first edition which would make sense given the London location of composition etc. too...)
