RISM (identification 456005433 ) gives 1857-03-15 for composition date - though HMB gives 1852 clearly for publication date. ( Schreibervermerk am Schluß: "Eichstädt den 15. März 1857".) Now that is confusing. Perhaps the work was revised before it was republished at a later date?
