  • About Hoesick's score (G. 248 H.): maybe it's not his engraving? Both Hoesicks (father and son) were named Ferdynand Hoesick. So where does the letter G. come from?
  • Also, number 248 has nothing to do with Hoesick's chronological order: it was reached in 1870s.
  • It is not engraved by Hug, as they wrote only G.H. ###, not G. ### H.
  • Gustav Heinze put G. ### H. on his scores, but this firm was already sold in 1876 to Peters.
