About the Kram Edition
A Baroque/Pre-Classical sonata that is an interesting blend of Classical sonata precursor and Baroque Suite. A few places where notes were obviously left out by the copyist were filled in. Also a number of things like some parallel fifths that appear to be there for effect and some resolutions that are unexpected. A piece that grows on you the more you play it. Kept most of the original ornamentation (wrote out few of them). Almost completely in two parts with a few chords thrown in here and there. Not clear if the intent was for the player to fill in as if playing an unfigured continuo. Many assumed harpsichord forte/piano register changes throughout.
