  • W.A. Mozart, in a letter to his father, from Munich on 6 October 1777:
    "... I'm sending my sister 6 Duetti à Clavicembalo e Violino by Schuster. I have been playing them here quite a lot, they are not bad. If I stay on I shall write six myself in the same manner, as they are very popular here..."
