Buechner in her introduction to a Dover reprint (2012) of Arensky piano works that includes the Caprices claims these, and Près de la mer, as among the two finest examples of this style of his writing (meant as a compliment.) - Schissel

Both complete recordings on CD are somewhat more than 13 minutes in all (13:10, 13:25).
