Misc. Comments

  • In the first edition of the revised version of 1888, the ordering for the 4 compositions deviates from the original ordering by the composer. The WAB ordering for the 4 compositions, as it is on the score, deviates also from the original ordering by the composer, as currently published by the Bruckner Gesamtausgabe. See Discography by Hans Roelofs. The fifth Tantum ergo in the fascicule is the 1888 version of Tantum ergo, WAB 42.
  • Erratum: The first page of score #429561 (2. Tantum ergo in C major, 1846 version) mentions as subtitle "2. Fassung (1888)". The subtitle should be corrected to "1. Fassung (1846)".
