From the Duvoir Collection www.duvoir.info. This piece has not been published. It came from the library of Georges Gillet. Le Menestrel, 20 January, 1878. (Translated to engling using babel fish): "The National company of Music made us hear with his last concert four parts for the cor anglais, composed by Mrs. de Grandval, and carried out by the first oboe solo of the Company in the Concerts, Mr. Georges Gillet. The public accomodated by unanimous applause the work of Mrs. de Grandval, admirably carried out by the young person and eminent artist. It is so seldom given to us to hear this splendid instrument whose Mr. Gillet obtains incomparable effects, that we could not thank too much Mrs. de Grandval and Mr. Gillet to have gotten this pleasure to us."
