Misc. Comments

Nos.1, 2, and 4 of Kroeger's Op.39 were published in the collection Vox Organi. The only other reference to Kroeger's Op.39 I've found is to a collection of 5 piano pieces entitled In Fairyland that was published as Op.39 (Saint Louis: Thiebes-Stierlin Music Co., 1897). Perhaps those piano pieces will turn out to have been based upon these organ pieces but until better information is found I've placed the organ works under the created title of 4 Compositions for Organ, Op.39.
