As currently titled the 24 Etudes or Caprices, Op.35 would appear to actually be a concatenation of pieces from Opp.18, 20, 30, 33, and 35. A publication entitled 24 Etudes et Caprices p. Violon. (Oe. 18. 20. 30. 33. 35.) was announced in Hofmeister's Monatsbericht (1849), p.82. A list of the individual publications making up this work include:
