Misc. Notes Original images: 400dpi, color jpg files approx. 4650 by 5725 pixels. Editing: re-sampled to 600dpi, converted to black and white tif files, de-skewed, and set uniform margins. As is the case with many BNF mid-19th century scans lots of specks due to need for a high black and white threshold. Accidentally treated the images as 300dpi so they have been re-sampled to 800dpi. The original 400dpi color images are available at the Internet Archive. Cover page carries the stamped date of 1846 by the Bibliotheque Royale.
