Misc. Comments

Dedication given in piano/violin score to Samuel 'Duskin'- who is the noted violinist Samuel Dushkin, who performed this Étude on 8 March 1920 (in a concert conducted by Sir Adrian Boult in London: Musical Times for 1 April 1920) (Schissel)

(Yes- Stravinsky in his autobiography mentions that Dushkin was, iirc, Fairchild's adopted son- literally or figuratively I don't know.)

Apparently the Durand orchestral score was also published in 1922 with plate no. 10159. See WorldCat (referring to Free Library of Philadelphia and Washington State. Washington State Library card catalog has the full list of instruments in fact, which I am inserting.)
