Volume 1 & 2 with 10 untitled movements. The style is lighter than most of this composer's other works, harking back to what might be termed period pieces. The subtitle queasy was chosen for reasons of assonance with the word quasi which points to the fact that these short pieces are not strictly speaking waltzes. The less mellifluous second volume presents pieces that occasionally require inordinately stretching one's fingers. A selection from the first volume is submitted in the form of a triptich, with a number of modifications, which emphasize the often aleatory character of the composer's musical discourse. Their main purpose is to serve as a possible addition to an imaginary repertory of light modern encores.
