instrumentation: these are the three versions listed on the title page of the piano solo score available at LOC. not at all sure which versions are originals, arrangements, alternates but of-equal-value, etc. (The 4-hand version is referred to in HMB as an arrangement of the orchestral version, anyway.) Orchestration - publication date approximated as 1882, Schirmer edition, in their case - from Free Library of Philadelphia Fleisher Collection (though we have a copy above, too.)
