Notes After a manuscript score in the Biblioteca del Conservatorio di San Pietro di Majella, Signature 3.1.9., fol. 4 v. - 7 r. - The score stipulates only one trumpet but we may presume that this aria was actually performed with two trumpets playing the same part. - The tempo indication "Andante non presto" is taken from another source (BRD MÜs. Hs. 4241); the Naples score plainly states "A tempo giusto".
